Guardians of the Seas

To support UN SDG 14 and address marine environment degradation, we collaborate with community members and volunteers in a year-round coastal cleanup activity as part of our marine environment conservation project. We also encourage ASE employees and diving enthusiasts to join the ASE Environmental Scuba Dive Team and participate in ocean and coastal clean-up activities to protect marine life and preserve biodiversity.

Biodiversity Conservation

ASEH is actively addressing biodiversity conservation by identifying the company’s dependencies, impacts, risks and opportunities related to nature using the TNFD-LEAP model. We are developing corresponding strategies and adopting the TNFD framework to publish the Climate and Environmental Report, providing transparency to our efforts. For the new SPIL facility under development at the Huwei Science Park, we are partnering with ecological experts to transform the surrounding areas into a model eco-park that harmonizes ecological restoration with social value.

Towards Net-Zero

Aligned with the SBTi net-zero goals, ASEH has implemented a robust carbon reduction strategy focusing on low-carbon products, investments in carbon credits, renewable energy, low-carbon transportation, and supply chain engagement. In addition, our subsidiaries will implement internal carbon pricing to boost our carbon reduction efforts. Recognizing the increasing significance of carbon inventory in global ESG trends, we plan to establish the Carbon Verification Center to offer GHG verification services, aiming to mitigate climate change impacts and support Taiwan's progress toward achieving net-zero emissions.
